Advisory: RHEA-2014:0855-1
Type: Product Enhancement Advisory
Severity: N/A
Issued on: 2014-07-08
Last updated on: 2014-07-08
Affected Products: Red Hat OpenStack 5.0 for RHEL 7

Details

OpenStack Dashboard packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 5.0
(Icehouse) for RHEL 7 are now available.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for building
a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud running on
commonly available physical hardware. This advisory includes packages for:

* OpenStack Dashboard service (Horizon).

OpenStack Dashboard (horizon) is a Django application that provides
administrators and users a graphical interface to access, provision and automate
cloud-based resources. The dashboard allows cloud administrators to get an
overall view of the size and state of the cloud and it provides end-users a
self-service portal to provision their own resources within the limits set by
administrators.

These packages also fix various bugs found in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux
OpenStack Platform 4 release. Documentation for these bug fixes is available in
the Technical Notes document:
