A new python-ethtool package is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.
Description
The python-ethtool package makes the ethtool kernel interface available within
the Python programming environment to allow querying and changing of Ethernet
card settings, such as speed, port, auto-negotiation, and PCI locations.
This new package adds python-ethtool to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. (BZ#675232)
All users who require python-ethtool are advised to install this new package.
Solution
