A new ebtables package is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.
Description
Ethernet bridge tables is a firewalling tool to transparently filter network
traffic passing a bridge. The filtering possibilities are limited to link layer
filtering and some basic filtering on higher network layers.
This package is now available for general use in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

All users requiring firewalling for Ethernet bridge tables should install this
newly released package, which adds this functionality.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
