An updated ypbind package that adds an enhancement is now available.
Description
This package provides the ypbind daemon. The ypbind daemon binds NIS clients to
a NIS domain. Systems running NIS client programs must have ypbind running.
This package includes the following enhancement:
- the new ypbind switch "-ping-interval" sets the ping frequency to ensure the
availability of NIS servers. The default interval is 20 seconds. (BZ#441753)
Users are advised to upgrade to this ypbind package which includes this
enhancement.
Solution

relevant to your system have been applied.
