An updated binutils package that adds enhancements is now available.
Description
Binutils is a collection of utilities used for the creation of executable
code.
This update package adds the following enhancements:
- support for the CMPXCHG16B instruction has been added.
- support for the AMD SSE5 instruction set has been added.
Users of binutils are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
adds these enhancements.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
