RHEA-2008:0076 - Product Enhancement Advisory
Synopsis
at enhancement update
Type/Severity
Product Enhancement Advisory
Red Hat Insights patch analysis
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated at package that adds a configuration enhancement to at is now
available.
Description
At reads commands from standard input or from a specified file. At allows
you to specify that a command will be run at a particular time. The batch
utility will execute commands when the system load levels drop to a
particular level. Both commands use /bin/sh.
With this enhancement, the at daemon now sources a configuration file when
it starts up, /etc/sysconfig/atd, enabling easier configuration,
particularly for load options and multiprocessor systems.
Users are advised to upgrade to this updated at package, which adds this
enhancement.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
This update is available via Red Hat Network. Details on how to use
