An updated hwdata package is available that updates the PCI and USB
description tables.
Description
The hwdata package contains tools for accessing and displaying hardware
identification and configuration data.
The updated hwdata package adds the following enhancements:
- updated the pci.ids database used by lspci that match numeric IDs to
descriptive names.
- enhances detection of several Intel network cards.
- suppresses error messages when lsusb is run.
Users of hwdata should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
