Topic
An updated anaconda package that adds various enhancements and fixes
various bugs is now available.
Description
The anaconda package contains portions of the installation program that can
be run by the user for reconfiguration and advanced installation options.
The following bugs have been resolved:
- misdetected dual-core cpus
- support for HWADDR parameters in network configuration files has been added
- video card selection malfunctioned in the text install interface
- added a "noparport" boot option
- fixed broken kickstart section parsing
- created a workaround for unordered packagesets
All users of anaconda should upgrade to this updated package, which
addresses these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:
up2date
This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
