Type/Severity
Product Enhancement Advisory
Red Hat Insights patch analysis
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated at(1) package that supports access control via PAM is now available.
Description
The at(1) package allows scheduling a command to run at a particular time,
reading the command from standard input or from a specified file. The at
command uses /bin/sh.
You should install the at package if you need a utility for time-oriented
job control. Note: If a recurring job is needed to be repeated at the same
time every day or week, you should use crontab instead.
The at package provides an at daemon, atd, which now supports access
control via PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules), such as pam_limits
(limits.conf) and pam_access (access.conf).
All users of at(1) should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
this issue.
