Synopsis
Updated lvm package
Type/Severity
Product Enhancement Advisory
Topic
An updated lvm package that adds an enhancement and fixes a bug is now
available.
Description
LVM includes all support for handling read/write operations on physical
volumes, such as hard disks, RAID systems, magneto optical, and multiple
devices (MD), in creating volume groups from one or more physical volumes
and creating one or more logical volumes in volume groups.
The following enchancements or bug fixes have been added or addressed:
- Adds name space support for IBM sdd (/dev/vpath) so that they can be used

All users of lvm should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
