An updated hwdata package that includes an update to the pci.ids file used
for descriptions of PCI devices is now available.
Description
The hwdata package contains various hardware identification and
configuration data, such as the pci.ids database, XFree86 Cards, and
MonitorsDb databases.
An updated pci.ids file from http://pciids.sourceforge.net/ was added to
Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
All users who have devices that currently show up as 'unknown' in lspci
should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
