RHBA-2015:2597 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
updated container image: rhscl/s2i-base-rhel7
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated rhscl/s2i-base-rhel7 container image is now available in the Red Hat Container Registry.
Description
The rhscl/s2i-base-rhel7 container image is used as a common layer for container images that support source-to-image to save space on a host machine because the rhscl/s2i-base-rhel7 image is shared by multiple containers. Also, using rhscl/s2i-base-rhel7 speeds up building container images. Note that this image is not supposed to be used directly by users unless they build their own container images.
The rhscl/s2i-base-rhel7 container image has been updated and it is now based on the latest rhel7:7.2 base image.
To pull the rhscl/s2i-base-rhel7 image, run the following command as root:
docker pull registry.access.redhat.com/rhscl/s2i-base-rhel7
For details, see the Knowledgebase article linked from the References section.
