Topic
Updated packages that resolve various issues are now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 6.0 (Juno) for RHEL 7.
Description
Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for
building a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud
running on commonly available physical hardware.
This update addresses the following issues:
- With this enhancement, a user cannot login as 'rabbitmq' any more because
from the security point of view, it is a good idea to disallow logging in
under accounts created for a system daemons. (BZ#1270218)
- Previously, 'systemd' did not provide an emulation for a custom
non-standard SysV commands, for example, rotate-logs. Due to this,
'logratate' could not call /sbin/service for a custom SysV command any more
while rotating logs.
With this update, 'logrotate' directly calls 'rabbitmqctl', resulting in
the logs rotating properly. (BZ#1253332)
