Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated redhat-certification-hardware package that fixes/adds various bugs and enhancements is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Description
The redhat-certification-hardware package contains the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Hardware Certification Test Suite, which verifies the compatibility of hardware devices.
Each test run builds a results database for submission to the Red Hat Hardware Catalog as a XML file. The redhat-certification-hardware package replaces the hwcert-client Test Suite for certifying hardware for use with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
This errata adds the following fixes/enhancements:
- Network test pings test server IP address instead of localhost.localdomain.
- Storage test is non-interactive when run from the server Web UI.
- oprofile commands are replaced with operf commands for all arches.
- New RHEL version numbers are supported.
- Work in progress fv_realtime test is disabled.
