Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated OpenStack Dashboard packages that resolve various issues are now
available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 6.0 (Juno).
Description
Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for
building a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud
running on commonly available physical hardware. This advisory includes
packages for:
- OpenStack Dashboard
OpenStack Dashboard (horizon) provides administrators and users a graphical
interface to access, provision, and automate cloud-based resources. The
dashboard allows cloud administrators to get an overall view of the size
and state of the cloud, and it provides end-users a self-service portal to
provision their own resources within the limits set by administrators.
This update addresses the following issues:
- Rebase package(s) to version:
python-django-horizon-2014.2.3-1.el7ost
Highlights and important bug fixes:
The following fixes were additionally included in this rebase:
Using shades of blue for distribution pie charts.
Panel was unable to expand properly. This has been fixed.
Distribution pie chart colors have been re-arranged.
Dynamic select widget layout had a problem when help block was displayed. This has been fixed. (BZ#1210461)
- In Horizon, changing the “Items per page” setting appropriately and attempting to display over 150 instances in a single page of instance table resulted in an error: "Error: Unable to connect to Neutron". With this release, method was updated to adjust the length limit and the issue is now resolved. (BZ#1203179)
- In the previous version, modifying flavors that are in use by running instances sometimes led to those instances not being accessible due to a race condition. As a result the instance details and console were not accessible. With this release, code was updated to enable Horizon gracefully handle deleted flavors. Instance details and console are now accessible even when the flavor details cannot be obtained. (BZ#1123095)
