Topic
Updated rhevm-iso-uploader packages that fix several bugs and add various
enhancements are now available.
Description
Changes to the rhevm-engine-iso-uploader component:
- Previously, using the ISO uploader with the --nossl option to upload an ISO
domain failed because HTTP isn't supported. Since the Rest API doesn't support
plain HTTP connections, the --nossl option has been removed. (BZ#1100825)
- Previously, using the ISO uploader with the --insecure option skipped SSL
validation and failed. With this update, it now works as normal. (BZ#1100824)
- Previously, when using the ISO uploader with an invalid host name, the
following error message returned: 'NoneType' object is not iterable. With this
update, a more explanatory error message is displayed:
ERROR: Unable to connect to REST API. Message: The host name
"xxx" contained in the URL doesn't match any of the names in the server
certificate.
ERROR: Unable to get ISO domain data (BZ#1110756)
- Previously, when the image uploader tool failed to up load an image due to
host name errors, the error message was not helpful for users to troubleshoot
the problem. With this update, the error message is now more verbose and points
out host name errors. (BZ#1144836)
