Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated qemu-kvm-rhev packages that fix one bug and add one enhancement are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 7.
Description
KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a full virtualization solution for
Linux on AMD64 and Intel 64 systems. The qemu-kvm-rhev package provides
the userspace component for running virtual machines using KVM, in
environments managed by Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Previously, the qemu-img convert command could corrupt the output image
if the input image was not fully synchronized to disk. Now, the handling
of qemu-img has been improved and the output image is not corrupted.
(BZ#1167224)
Users of qemu-kvm-rhev are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix this bug and add this enhancement.
