Bug Fix Advisory cluster and gfs2-utils bug fix update

Advisory: RHBA-2013:1617-1
Type: Bug Fix Advisory
Severity: N/A
Issued on: 2013-11-20
Last updated on: 2013-11-20
Affected Products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux High Availability (v. 6)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Resilient Storage (v. 6)

Details

Updated cluster and gfs2-utils packages that fix several bugs are now available
for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

The Red Hat Cluster Manager is a collection of technologies working together to
provide data integrity and the ability to maintain application availability in
the event of a failure. Using redundant hardware, shared disk storage, power
management, and robust cluster communication and application failover
mechanisms, a cluster can meet the needs of the enterprise market.

These updated cluster and gfs2-utils packages include numerous bug fixes. Space
precludes documenting all of these changes in this advisory. Users are directed
to the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 Technical Notes for information on the most
significant of these changes:

https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/6.5_Technical_Notes/cluster-and-gfs2-utils.html#RHBA-2013-1617

Users of cluster and gfs2-utils are advised to upgrade to these updated
packages, which fix these bugs.
