An updated fence-agents package that fixes a bug is now available.
Description
Red Hat fence agents are a collection of scripts to handle remote power
management for several devices. They allow failed or unreachable nodes to be
forcibly restarted and removed from the cluster.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Prior to this update, fence_ipmilan agent contained code which could be used
for possible buffer overflow attack. With this update, this code is fixed and no
longer vulnerable to buffer overflow attack. (BZ#756315)
Users are advised to upgrade to this updated fence-agents package, which
resolves this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
