Topic
An updated python-quantumclient package that fixes a bug is now available
for Red Hat OpenStack 2.1 (Folsom).
Description
The python-quantumclient package is a client library and command line
utility for interacting with OpenStack Quantum's API.
This update addresses the following bug:
- The python-quantumclient package requires python-iso8601 in order to
function properly. This package is normally installed by other clients
during the complete OpenStack install. But when an administrator attempts
to install the 'quantum' client in standalone mode, the command fails to run. By
explicitly setting python-iso8601 as a dependency of this package, the issue is
resolved. (BZ#950554)
All users of Red Hat OpenStack 2.1 (Folsom) are advised to upgrade to this
updated package, which resolves this issue.
