Bug Fix Advisory man-pages-fr bug fix update

Advisory: RHBA-2012:0463-1
Type: Bug Fix Advisory
Severity: N/A
Issued on: 2012-04-09
Last updated on: 2012-06-20
Affected Products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop (v. 6)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server (v. 6)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation (v. 6)

Details

An updated man-pages-fr package that fixes one bug is now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 6.

The man-pages-fr package contains a collection of manual pages from the
man-pages Project, translated into French. It also includes supplemental pages
provided by Dr. Patrick Atlas and Dr. Gerard Delafond.

This update fixes the following bug:

Prior to this update, the mansupfr.tar.bz2 tarball that contains supplemental
French manual pages, was not correctly extracted. As a consequence, some manual
pages were not installed. With this update, supplemental manual pages are added
back when no known file conflicts appear, and the supplemental French manual
pages are again available. (BZ#613622)

All users, requiring localized manual pages in French, are advised to upgrade to
this updated package, which fixes this bug.
