RHBA-2012:0114 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
cmirror-kernel bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
Updated cmirror-kernel packages that fix one bug are now available as part of
the ongoing support and maintenance of Red Hat Cluster Suite 4.
Description
The cmirror-kernel packages provide support within the kernel for cluster
mirroring.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Prior to this update, cmirror-kernel modules could fail to load if they were
not force-loaded because they did not match the running kernel. With this
update, all modules match the running kernel. Now, force-loading the modules is
no longer required. (BZ#787819)
Users of the 2.6.9-101.EL kernel are advised to upgrade to these updated
cmirror-kernel packages, which fix this bug.
