Topic
An updated xorg-x11-drv-ati package that fixes a bug is now available.
Description
The xorg-x11-drv-ati package provides a driver for ATI cards for the X.Org
implementation of the X Window System.
This updated xorg-x11-drv-ati package fixes the following bug:
- previously, on certain Dell servers, VT switching on RN50 cards caused an
internal error (IERR). This was caused by the driver incorrectly resetting a
component of the GPU on a VT switch. With this update, the driver no longer
attempts to reset that component. (BZ#627510)
All users of xorg-x11-drv-ati are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which resolves this issue.
