RHBA-2007:1096 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
lvm2-cluster bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
Updated lvm2-cluster packages that fix a bug are now available.
Description
The lvm2-cluster packages contain support for Logical Volume Management
(LVM) in a clustered environment.
This update ensures that the bug fixed by the lvm2 advisory RHBA-2007:1093
is also fixed in a clustered environment.
Running certain LVM2 commands, including but not limited to the "vgs"
command, may have caused a "cluster request failed: Invalid argument"
error, causing clvmd to hang.
This update must be applied along with the lvm2 advisory RHBA-2007:1093.
All lvm2-cluster users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which resolve this issue.
