An updated am-utils package which fixes a bug is now available.
Description
The am-utils package includes the BSD automounter (Amd) as well as support
tools.
This updated package addresses the following bug:
- the amd daemon opened a new socket each time it performed an LDAP query.
These sockets were never closed and this eventually triggered a segfault.
All users of am-utils are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
