A new code library, libspe2, is now available.
Description
The SPE Runtime Management Library (libspe) constitutes the standardized
low-level API for application access to the Cell Broadband Engine's
Synergistic Processing Elements (SPEs). The API is neutral with respect to
the underlying operating system and its SPE management methods.
Users wanting access to the SPE Runtime Management API should install
these newly-released packages.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
