RHBA-2007:0422 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
hotplug bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated hotplug package is available that fixes a minor issue in the
source package.
Description
The hotplug package contains the application which is called by the kernel
when a USB, PCI, or Firewire device is added; hotplug then loads the
required modules for that device and performs any appropriate setup.
The hotplug source rpm contained a firmware file which was not freely
redistributable; this has been corrected.
Users should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,

RPMs being upgraded on your system.
