Updated dmraid packages that address various bugs are now available.
Description
The dmraid package contains the ATARAID activation tool that supports RAID
device discovery, RAID set activation, and displays properties for ATARAID
on Linux kernels using device-mapper.
This updated package fixes the following issues:
- dmraid segfaulted with the Highpoint 37x metadata format
- dmraid contained an incorrect dependency on kpartx
- dmraid was built dynamically instead of statically
All users of dmraid should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
