RHBA-2007:0111 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
pdksh bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated pdksh package that fixes two bugs is now available.
Description
The pdksh package contains PD-ksh, a clone of the Korn shell (ksh). The ksh
shell is a command interpreter intended for both interactive and shell
script use. Ksh's command language is a superset of the sh shell language.
This update addresses a bug where pdksh did not recognize signals by name
and another bug where certain ksh scripts caused pdksh to abort.
Users of PD-ksh are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:
up2date
This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
