Updated tar packages that fix a bug are now available.
Description
The GNU tar program saves many files together in one archive and can
restore individual files (or all of the files) from that archive.
The following issues have been addressed:
- tar produced verbose output, even when -v option was not specified.
Users of tar should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve this
issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
