sysreport bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated sysreport package that contain a fix to correctly report sysrq
data is now available.
Description
Sysreport is a utility that gathers information about a system's
hardware and configuration. The information can then be used for
diagnostic purposes and debugging. Sysreport is commonly used to help
support technicians and developers by providing a "snapshot" of a
system's current layout.
The sysreport tool did not correctly set /proc/sys/kernel/sysrq in order to
get the various sysrq data. These updated packages contain fixes to address
this issue.
All users of sysreport should upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.
