An updated bash package that fixes two scripting problems is now available.
Description
Bash is the default shell for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
This updated version of bash fixes a multi-line parsing problem, as well as
a problem with closing file descriptors too early in pipe processes.
Users should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
