Updated sysstat packages that fix an mpstat bug are now available.
Description
The sysstat package provides the sar and iostat commands. These commands
enable system monitoring of disk, network, and other I/O activity.
These updated packages fix the following issues:
- Adds read whole-disk statistics from /proc/partitions or /proc/diskstats.
- Fixes a problem with the precision of mpstat output.
- Fixes sar output of an incorrect value for pgpgin and pgpgout when this
value overflows.
All users of sysstat should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve
these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
