An updated gnome-applets package that fixes a CD Player panel applet crash
is now available.
Description
GNOME (GNU Network Object Model Environment) is a user-friendly set of
applications and desktop tools to be used in conjunction with a window
manager for the X Window System. The gnome-applets package provides various
utilities for the GNOME panel.
This update fixes a crash when the CD Player applet is removed or when
Eject is clicked while the CD is paused.
All users of gnome-applets should upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
