An updated gnome-media package that removes the gnome-sound-recorder
program is now available.
Description
GNOME (GNU Network Object Model Environment) is a user-friendly set of
GUI applications and desktop tools to be used in conjunction with a
window manager for the X Window System. The gnome-media package will
install media features like the GNOME CD player. Install gnome-media if you
want to use GNOME's multimedia capabilities.
This updated package removes the gnome-sound-recorder program due to
reliability issues.
All users of gnome-media should upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
