RHBA-2005:233 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
libwnck bugfix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
Updated libwnck packages that fix an issue with the display of panel
icons when grouping certain applications are now available.
Description
The Window Navigator Construction Kit (libwnck) is used to implement
pagers, tasklists, and other graphical elements. It allows applications to
monitor information about open windows, workspaces, their names/icons, and
more.
The panel taskbar did not display the application icon when
grouping certain applications (most notably gnome-terminal). This update
contains a backport of the taskbar application grouping functionality.
All users should upgrade to these updated packages, which contain a
backport that resolves this issue.
