RHBA-2005:168 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
iscsi-initiator-utils bug fix
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated iscsi-initiator-utils package that fixes several bugs is now
available.
Description
The iscsi package provides the server daemon for the iSCSI protocol,
as well as the utility programs used to manage it. iSCSI is a protocol
for distributed disk access using SCSI commands sent over Internet
Protocol networks.
In some instances, iscsi devices were not automounted on bootup. This
happened because iscsi sessions were not established quickly enough. The
default timeout in the iscsi initscript has now been increased slightly,
and can be overridden using the /etc/sysconfig/iscsi configuration file.
Previously, iscsi-ls did not print valid output for systems that had more
than 26 luns. A correction has been made in iscsi-ls to account for these
systems.
Previously, iscsi-ls handled arguments incorrectly. It reported an error
when valid arguments were not ordered a certain way. This has been corrected.
Users are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which resolves these
issues.

errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
