An updated pcmcia-cs package is available that fixes a minor bug.
Description
The pcmcia-cs package provides a user-level daemon and utilities for using
PCMCIA devices on Linux.
Under some circumstances, cardmgr printed the following error message while
otherwise functioning correctly:
open_sock(socket 2) failed: Bad file descriptor
All users of pcmcia-cs should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
