RHBA-2005:098 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
mod_auth_mysql bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated mod_auth_mysql package that fixes a 64-bit compatibility bug is
now available.
Description
The mod_auth_mysql package includes an extension module for the Apache HTTP
Server, which can be used to implement Web user authentication against a
MySQL database.
A bug was discovered in the mod_auth_mysql module. The module would cause
an httpd child process to crash if configured on AMD64, Itanium, and Intel
EM64T platforms.
All users of mod_auth_mysql on AMD64, Itanium, and Intel EM64T platforms
should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves this issue.
