An updated sysreport package that includes various fixes and enhancements
is now available.
Description
The sysreport package contains a utility that gathers information about a
system's hardware and configuration. The information can then be used for
diagnostic purposes and debugging. Sysreport is commonly used to help
support technicians and developers by providing a "snapshot" of a system's
current layout.
This updated version of sysreport contains a number of enhancements,
including expanded data collection. In addition, a number of minor bugs
have been addressed.
Users of sysreport are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
resolves these issues and adds these enhancements.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
