RHBA-2004:701 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
Updated xinitrc package
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated xinitrc package that fixes a kinput2 bug is now available.
Description
The xinitrc package contains the xinitrc file, a script which is used
to configure your X Window System session or to start a window
manager.
Previously, the xinput script included in the xinitrc package contained a
bug that caused two copies of kinput2 to be launched. This occasionally
caused keyboard input to become unavailable in the GNOME desktop when using
the kinput2 input method server.
All users of xinitrc should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
this issue.
