Various updated packages are now available to fix multilib conflicts.
Description
This erratum includes the following packages:
- arts
- aspell
- compat-db
- curl
- e2fsprogs
- fam
- ghostscript
- gnome-libs
- gphoto2
- hesiod
- kdebase
- libaio
- libao
- libraw1394
- libtabe
- libxslt
- mikmod
- openjade
- pcre
- perl
- redhat-artwork
- sane-backends
- scrollkeeper
- tcp_wrappers
The original versions of these packages failed to install 64-bit packages
if the 32-bit packages had already been installed. These versions fix this,
and allows the 32-bit and 64-bit versions to be installed simultaneously.
All users with the need to install 32-bit and 64-bit packages
simultaneously should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve this
issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
