RHBA-2004:500 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
Updated esound package
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated esound package that fixes multilib conflicts is now available.
Description
ESounD, the Enlightened Sound Daemon, is a server process that mixes
several audio streams for playback by a single audio device.
The original version failed to install 64-bit packages if the 32-bit
packages had already been installed. This version fixes this, and allows
the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of esound to be installed simultaneously.
All users of esound with the need to install 32-bit and 64-bit packages
simultaneously should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves this
issue.
