RHBA-2004:481 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
Updated mailman package
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated mailman package that was not originally included in previous
versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 is now available.
Description
The mailman package helps manage email discussion lists, much like
Majordomo and Smartmail. Unlike most similar products, Mailman gives each
mailing list a webpage, and allows users to subscribe, unsubscribe, and
perform other commands using the Web. List management and administration is
also available.
Mailman, a popular mailing list manager, was not previously included in the
original Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 package list, and has been included
as an update.
All users interested in using mailman should upgrade to this updated package.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
