Topic
An updated sh-utils package that fixes support for large files is now
available.
Description
The sh-utils package contains several utilities that are often used in
shell scripts, such as id, uname, and whoami.
The sh-utils package was not previously built with support for handling of
large files, and as a result, some utilities would fail when encountering them.
This updated sh-utils package provides large file support enabled.
All users of sh-utils should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
