An updated rhnlib package that fixes various bugs is now available.
Description
The rhnlib package contains a python library used by up2date and other Red
Hat Network tools for most network-related operations.
This update fixes the following issues:
- reorganized some of the class methods for easier inheritance
- fixed a bug in the upstream python httplib module:
- added a User-Agent header when setting up an SSL tunnel through an HTTP
proxy.
All users of rhnlib should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
