RHBA-2004:113 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
Updated nss_ldap package available
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated nss_ldap package is now available for Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 3.
Description
nss_ldap is a set of C library extensions that allow X.500 and LDAP
directory servers to be used as a primary source of aliases, ethers,
groups, hosts, networks, protocols, users, RPCs, services, and shadow
passwords (instead of or in addition to using flat files or NIS).
This update fixes password handling expiration to be set within 24
hours.
Users of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 should upgrade to this updated package.
Solution
This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:
up2date
This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
