Updated up2date packages that add one enhancement are now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 4 Extended Life Cycle Support.
Description
The up2date packages contain tools for registering the machine with Red Hat
Network and updating the system with newest packages.
This update adds the following enhancement:
- The up2date utility is now capable of detecting and sending the number of CPU
sockets as a part of the server hardware information. (BZ#949615)
Users of up2date are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which add
this enhancement.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
