Details

An enhanced hwdata package is now available.

The hwdata package contains tools for accessing and displaying hardware
identification and configuration data.

This updated package includes the following additional entries to the Red
Hat Enterprise Linux 4.8 pci.ids and usb.ids databases:

* Intel Ibex Peak LPC Interface Controllers, 2 and 4 port SATA IDE
Controllers, SATA Enhanced RAID Controller, SATA RAID Controller, SMBus
Controller, and High Definition Audio. (BZ#451907)

* for Intel Boxboro support: Ibex Peak 4 and 6 port SATA AHCI Controllers,
Thermal Subsystem, USB2 Enhanced Host Controller, USB Universal Host
Controllers, LAN Controller, PCI Express Root (Port 1-8), VECI Controller,
HECI Controllers, PT IDER Controller, and KT Controller. (BZ#456940)

* for updated NetXen driver support: Hewlett-Packard NC522m Dual Port 10GbE
Multifunction BL-c Adapter, NC375i Integrated Quad Port Multifunction
Gigabit Server Adapter, and NC522SFP Dual Port 10GbE Server Adapter.

* for Virtio Anaconda support: Virtio network devices and Virtio block

* ASPEED Technology AST2000 updated to reflect product name revision in
hal-device-manager. AST2000 should now display ASPEED Graphics Family.

* for Vitesse VSC453: Matrox Graphics integrated MGA G200EV and MGA G200eW
WPCM450. (BZ#490878, BZ#494946)

Several corrections were also made to the pci.ids and usb.ids databases.

Users of hwdata are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which adds
these hardware support enhancements.
