An updated tzdata package that adds enhancements is now available.
The tzdata package contains data files with rules for various time zones
around the world.
This updated package addresses the following changes to Daylight Savings
Time (DST) observations:
* as of June 24, 2008, for Brazil, all of Acre and parts of Amazonas that
used UTC+5, now use UTC+4. Previously, only parts of Para used UTC+3. Now,
all of Para use UTC+3.
* Mauritius is introducing DST on October 26, 2008, instead of November 1,
2008.
* Morocco is ending DST on August 31, 2008, instead of September 27, 2008.
* Pakistan is ending DST on October 31, 2008, instead of August 31, 2008.
Users in the affected locales, or users interacting with people or systems
in the affected locales, are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which adds these enhancements.
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
